Megan has over 6 years of experience as a working and volunteer Speech Pathologist. Megan has worked as a Senior Speech Pathologist, overseeing junior and student clinicians, for almost 2 years. Megan is very keen on supporting and up-skilling colleagues to be the most confident and best clinicians for themselves and their clients. Megan's field of practice covers across the lifespan in private practice, nursing homes, and primary and high schools; Megan's skills and experience cover assessment and therapy for paediatric and adult literacy, language development, fluency, acute TBI/ABI and rehabilitation, speech sound disorders and delays, augmentative and alternative communication, and degenerative diseases. Megan is additionally trained in Sounds-Write phonics therapy for early literacy.Megan is passionate about working WITH and FOR her clients. Megan's key focus is on regular liaisons with clients to make sure therapy targets are always appropriate to meet the client's needs and goals. Megan believes in teamwork between herself, clients, client families, and other health professionals to achieve the best possible outcomes for all.Away from work, Megan is a keen participant in local extra-curricular activities, engaging in and supporting her community, but she most keenly revels in being a mum.
